The StrobeGuard SS-125 (OWL) was the sixth high-intensity beacon designed in 1983 and released by EG&G in 1984. The SS-125 was designed by Steve Wanstall and the beacon schematic was drawn by Reed Shiner. George J. Mandeville Jr. was the project engineer.
